Effective Date: January 1 , 2025
These Terms of Service outline the standards for communication and transactions between you and Palladium Insurance Agency Inc. By engaging with our office via email, phone, text, or any other medium, you agree to the following:
1. Binding and Coverage Modifications Insurance coverage cannot be initiated, modified, or terminated through voicemail, email, or text message alone. No change to your policy is effective until you have received formal written confirmation from an authorized representative of Palladium Insurance Agency Inc. or directly from your insurance carrier.
2. Responsibility for Follow-Up If you request a change and do not receive a written acknowledgment within a reasonable timeframe, it is your responsibility to contact our office to confirm receipt. We are not liable for communication delays caused by technical errors, spam filters, or network issues beyond our control.
3. Quotes and Policy Proposals Any premium quotes provided are estimates and remain subject to final underwriting and carrier verification. Terms, rates, and coverage details are not finalized until the insurance carrier issues a formal binder or policy. Quotes may be adjusted based on new information or updated underwriting inspections.
4. Reporting a Claim To ensure the fastest response, we recommend reporting claims directly to your insurance carrier using their 24-hour claims hotline or online portal. Notifying our agency is an important step, but it does not guarantee that a claim has been officially filed or that coverage applies until confirmed in writing.
5. Digital Communication Risks Please be aware that standard email and text communications are not encrypted. By choosing to correspond with us electronically, you acknowledge the inherent risks of interception or delay and authorize Palladium Insurance Agency Inc. to communicate with you through these channels.
6. Premium Payments Your insurance coverage is at risk if payments are not made on time. Payments are only considered "received" once they are confirmed by the carrier or your premium finance company. Please note that late payments may result in immediate policy cancellation by the carrier.
7. Privacy and Data Security We handle your personal data in strict accordance with California privacy laws. Your information is used solely to provide insurance services or to comply with legal requirements; we do not sell client data to third parties. Our full Privacy Policy is available upon request.
8. Jurisdiction and Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Los Angeles County, California.
